The URSI/COSPAR International Reference Ionosphere (IRI) Workshop will be held in Hermanus, South Africa during the period 10-14 October 2011. Special emphasis of the 2011 workshop will be on improving IRI over the African Region, however, all contributions related to improvements to the IRI model as well as applications of the IRI are welcome. Selected papers from this workshop will be published in Advances in Space Research.The DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS EXTENDED TO 4 June 2011. Abstract submission will be via email to : iri2011abstract@hmo.ac.za
